Colledge Registered began over seventeen years ago with our Bearded Collies. Our prefix was chosen in honour of Kevin's father, the late William Colledge.

Our Beardies, Dylan, Haliburton, Dizzol and Charley each had numerous successes in the show ring, with wins including Best In Specialty Sweepstakes, Awards of Merit, Best Puppy In Show, and numerous Group Wins and Placements. In addition to the show wins, Colledge Bearded Collies were active in Pet Therapy, Obedience, Agility and Herding.

Our carefully selected breeding program produced six litters of Beardie puppies, some of whom went on to achieve Canadian & American Championships as well as obedience, herding and agility titles. Our last Bearded Collie litter produced the Bearded Collie Club of America National 2004 RWB in a very competitive entry of 77 bitches. Her sire won that National. Although our first love, we no longer breed Bearded Collies.

We began our love affair with Tibetan Terriers Alilah over a decade ago, when we spotted the beautiful BIS Can/Am CH Samsara Alilah Dscho Utra at a nearby show. Colledge kennels is fortunate to have formed a close friendship and partnership with Samsara Tibetan Terriers of Burlington Ontario, breeders of the lovely Alilah. Our breeding program and our success in the whelping box as well as in the ring is directly a result of having such knowledgeable mentors as the Georges of Samsara TTs.

We are proud of our Tibetan Terriers. Our show wins include Best in Show, Best in Specialty, Award of Merit, Best of Winners, Best in Sweepstakes, and best of all, Best of Breeders Sweeps. The following picture is an indication of the legacy being passed on. In the background is Rocky, a National Specialty winner, then her daughter Fiesta, and our newest promising youngster Lucy.
